Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Type3 Soft. (“we”) collects when you use Jeongmyeongdang, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we collect

• Birth details — date, time (optional), and country/city of birth — used to compute your Saju and correct for true solar time.
• Your chosen Korean surname and selected name.
• Email address — only if you pay, to deliver your reading and let you re-open it later.
• Basic technical data (IP-derived country, locale preference) to route you to the right service and prevent abuse.

We do not require an account or password.

Why we use it (legal bases)

• To perform the service you request (generate and deliver your name) — performance of a contract.
• To process your payment — performance of a contract, via our Merchant of Record.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service reliable — legitimate interests.
• Where required, with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time).

Service providers (processors)

• OpenAI — generates the English meaning/explanation of names (birth details are sent as analysis inputs, not to identify you).
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and Merchant of Record (billing, tax, receipts).
• Resend — sends your delivery email.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the Republic of Korea, with appropriate safeguards.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” (we do neither). To exercise any right, email support@type3soft.comand we will respond within the timeframe required by law.

Retention

We keep order and reading data only as long as needed to provide and support the service and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies — your language preference (EN/KO) and, after payment, access to your reading. We do not use advertising cookies.
